Rev. Jerry D. Davis Jr. is the Pastor of the New Testament Baptist Bible Center located at 1500 Pailet Ave. in Harvey, Louisiana and 2nd Mount Triumph Missionary Baptist Church 3508 Washington Ave, New Orleans, LA 70125.

 

Rev. Davis was the former Co-Pastor of Grace Community Church for three years.  He is a veteran preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over 50 years.  Pastor Davis is happily married to Sister Deanka B. Davis, who has come to be respectfully known as “Lady D”.

 

Pastor Davis loves our Lord Jesus Christ and God’s people, and this is proven through how he diligently studies and teaches them from the Word of God.  Though he envisions reaching all of humanity with the Gospel, he believes that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the main solution for the recovery and restoration of black males, for the restoration of the African American family.    

 

Pastor Davis’ personal life is an example of how far a man can fall and still find the forgiveness, mercy and grace of God in Christ Jesus available to forgive the sinner, rescue the fallen, recover the wounded, revive the discouraged and restore the displaced.  To God be the Glory through Jesus Christ our Lord!
