Our Story

WOPT was born in 2022 under the covering of New Testament Baptist Bible Center located at 1500 Pailet Street, Harvey, Louisiana, during a time of rebuilding after COVID-19. Pastor Davis emphasized the importance of launching ministries, and the women’s ministry was assigned to Marian Brown. From that, WOPT came to life.

WOPT is open to all women who are striving to grow in their faith, regardless of background or church affiliation.

Our Vision 

To be hope to all women using our failures, experiences, victories, and ultimately the Word of God. 

 

How We Fulfill This Vision

Sharing Experiences: We openly share our personal stories as

the Lord leads, hoping to strengthen another sister.

Biblical Guidance: The Word of God is central to how we live

and support one another.

Inspiration and Hope: We aim to show that healing and

purpose come through faith and community.

To connect to the lost, create community, and serve the needs of hurting women, including ourselves. Our aim is to help women know and accept their value and to see themselves as God sees them.
